Are you looking for Diep.io cheats, strategies, or tips? Here you’ll find information on anything from tank classes to how to employ stat upgrades. Have you been playing Diep.io, an Agario spin-off game, but need some help upgrading your tank and reaching higher levels? Check out our Diep.io strategy guide for more information.

Diep.io, a third browser-based game hit, is sweeping the internet, following in the footsteps of Agar.io and Slither.io. But, unlike Slither.io, which appeared very simple to grasp after playing Agar.io, Diep.io offers comparable gameplay elements but with a few changes that make it an entirely distinct beast.

If you’re new to Diep.io and are having trouble understanding the different tank classes, when to upgrade, and which stats are most useful, we’ve put up a beginner’s guide to playing the game and progressing up without cheating.

Diep.io: How To Play

Diep.io is a tank-based Agar.io-style game that includes stat upgrades and classes. First and foremost, for those who have heard of the game but are unsure how it is played, you take on the role of a little tank instead of a blog or a snake. The goal of the game, similar to Agar.io and Slither.io, is to become the biggest, baddest tank in the world, which needs you to destroy tanks in your path. In Diep.io, though, it takes a little more skill than just knowing when to duck or dash. We also have stat points and tank classes in Diep.io, which add to the game’s complexity.

  • To play the game, go to Diep.io, create an account, and log in. You’ll be led to a familiar-looking game grid with your miniature tank in the center (blue circle with tiny grey square attached). Colored squares, triangles, and pentagons are some of the obstacles in the game that you must shoot in order to acquire experience and later level up.
  • Simply position your mouse at your target and press the left mouse button or the space bar to shoot (alternatively, you can hold down either the left mouse or space bar for continuous shots).
  • Use your arrow keys to navigate the grid.
  • Your tank level bar fills up when you destroy shapes or other tanks. You level up when it’s full.
  • Each time your Tank levels up, you get a stat point, which you may use to increase your tank’s attributes such as health, bullet speed, and penetration. There are eight district stats you can upgrade using points (more on those below). Each level gives you a stat point until you reach level 30.
  • When you reach level 15, you can choose which of the four tank classes you want to be a part of. Like stats, each class offers a unique element to your gameplay (more on tank classes below).

Diep.io Stats: All The Tank Upgrades Plus Tips On How To Use Them

You can choose from eight different stat enhancements. A stat menu appears to the left of your game screen as you level up your tank. The stats you can choose from are listed below. By touching on the plus sign beside each statistic, you can pick it.

  • Health Regen – Increases your tank’s life recovery rate.
  • Max Health – Extends your life to its full potential.
  • Body Damage – Increases the amount of damage you take when you collide with other players or obstacles.
  • Bullet Speed – Increases the projectile’s speed.
  • The ‘Manager’ and ‘Hybrid Destroyer’ Tank Classes have been added to Diep.io: How To…
  • Bullet Penetration – Bullets pass through players and obstructions.
  • Bullet Damage – Increases the amount of damage a shot causes.
  • Bullets are being reloaded at a slower rate.
  • Tank Movement Speed – Increases the tank’s movement speed.

Each of these numbers has its own set of advantages, and when you consider which Tank class to choose, you’ll want to consider adding complementary upgrades. Because snipers take longer to load, you’ll want to make their shots count. You should also think about the types of players on the board at the time. For example, if the server is overcrowded, health enhancements may be beneficial.

All Diep.io Tank Classes And Upgrades

At levels 15, 30, and 45, you can upgrade your tank to one of four different classes.

UPDATE: IDIGITALTIMES PHOTO: IDIGITALTIMES Diep.io’s most recent Class Tree can be seen here.

In Diep.io, there are four different tank classes that spawn once you reach level 15. Each class has its own set of advantages:

Twin – Adds a second gun that fires at the same time as the first.

Sniper – Increases the range of vision and the damage dealt by projectiles. Slower shooting in class

Machine Gun – Cannon that shoots projectiles at a higher angle and at a faster rate.

Flank Guard – Fires in two directions at the same time.

The top classes upgrade to even more powerful tanks at levels 30 and 45. The following are the details:

  • Pentashot -> Twin -> Triplet -> Pentashot
  • Overseer -> Overlord -> Sniper
  • Destroyer -> Mega Destroyer -> Machine Gun
  • Octotank -> Twin Flank -> Flankguard

UPDATE: On Wednesday, a new Necromancer class was added. Here’s how to find out what it does and how to obtain it.

Diep.io Strategies And Upgrade Tips

We looked through a number of Diep.io forums and io games who were willing to share their upgrade combos and methods. We’ve included a couple examples below.

Diep.io Strategy #1

  • When you reach level 15, you can upgrade to a Twin.
  • Reload when you’ve maxed up bullet damage (alternate between)
  • Increase the number of points in Health Regen.
  • Upgrade to a Triplet (NOT Triple-shot!) once you reach level 30.
  • Bullet Penetration should be maximized.
  • Bullet Speed should be maximized.
  • Fill in the blanks in Max Health.

According to FPTN, “the notion is that you are always protected by your own stream of gunfire.” “Since of the high Bullet Penetration and Reload, enemy bullets will never reach you because they will be gunned down by your bullets. If they try to body smash you, they’ll be killed by your high-damage bullet stream. With this in mind, you can choose your own fights and avoid unpleasant ones by shielding yourself in a large, impenetrable wave of gunfire. This build helped me kill 145 tanks in my last game before I had to leave.”

Diep.io Strategy #2

“For this, I’m going to use a quick and dirty strategy. Shoot two blue pentagons to increase your health regen. Select the sniper class. Then start smashing into things until your body damage is maxed out. Select the supervisor class. Now it’s time to max out your health. Now find the sea of pentagons and ram them all, but be careful since the huge ones will deplete your health. Make the most of your movement. Put the rest of the points in reload. Also, choose the Mega Overseer class. Use the small triangles to corner and ram the weaker tanks. Alternatively, utilize them as cover while you ram into the more powerful tanks. Machine guns and quadruple guns aimed in the same direction are a threat to you. “Avoid them at all costs.”

Diep.io Strategy #3

“Pay attention to movement speed and health regeneration. Focus on body damage and finishing mobility speed once you’ve maxed your regen. Also, gain some maximum health. Stop blasting blocks and instead run them over for xp; it’ll save you time. Your regen will assist you. All harm / penetration / whatever is skipped. You’re not going to shoot somebody.

After that, take the machine gun class and finally the DESTROYER class. Body damage, health, regen, and movement speed should all be maxed out. On your spacecraft, there is a lot of knockback when you shoot. Shoot backwards and slam into unsuspecting ships, destroying them quickly with your body damage. “Put your remaining points towards reload speed.”

Diep.io Strategy #4

“For consistency and a tiny probability of dying at the start, 6, 6, 0, 7, 5, 7, 0, 2 [Twin – Triple]For absolute domination, pure brutality, and my favorite 6, 6, 0, 7, 7, 7, 0, 0 [Sniper – Overseer – Overlord]I haven’t experimented much but the destroyed class [Machine gun – Destroyer – Destroyer]6, 6, 7, 0, 0, 0, 7, 7 Great for body damage (and you can use the destroyed for great boosts into people”
